Question by Sa_San: Some good songs during the 70′s, 80′s and 90′s?
I am looking for some good songs during the 70′s, 80′s, and 90′s.

For the 70′s, I am looking for more soul, r&b, and disco music like KC and the Sunshine Band, Donna Summer, Stylistics, Al Green etc.

The 80′s I am looking for some r&b, and soul songs also with some pop, like the Prince, Madonna, MJ, New Edition, etc.

The 90′s, more of the early hip hop with the pop, and r&b/soul thing also like Madonna, TLC, BBD (Bell Biv, Devoe), 2 Pac, whoever.

I am open to anything basically, but would prefer what I mentioned. Any suggestions? Just no hard rock like Black Sabbath (nothing against them) or anything like that.
i have included some salt and pepa songs to my ipod. thank you.
i have the Let’s Stay Together already.

i have all those Madonna songs in the 80′s and the 90′s as well.

I didn’t really like too many Spice Girls songs. I like If You Wanna Be MY Lover, I’m Giving you everything (something like that), and some other one that I don’t know the name of.
I have Prince songs already.
I have MJ songs, Prince, Madonna, and George Michael already as well. thank you.
already have TLC.
Dave V:

can you give me some popular songs of those artists you mentioned? Thanks.

Killing Me Softly With His Song – Roberta Flack
The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face – Roberta Flack

So many choices!

Try going old school….. The Gap Band, The Dazz Band, The Ohio Players, Cameo, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Midnight Star…. so much great music!

Real instruments, real feel, harmonies… you can’t miss!
