Question by kittycat: What are the colors of Germany’s national flag?
I know that the German flag has three bands of horizontal stripes, which LOOK like black at the top, another color in the middle, and yellow on the bottom.
What are the technical names, for each of the colors?
For example: Is the Yellow, at the bottom “Sunshine Yellow”, “Golden Yellow”, “Butter Yellow”, etc?
Is the black strip called “Basic black”, “Midnight Black”, etc?
What would be the English names of each of the colors of Germany’s federal, national, flag?

i recommend that you study some german and ask a german national. why on earth would an english-speaker know anything this detailed about the german flag?
